I never imagined being estranged from our only child, let alone that I’d be writing a book. But here I am.


When I prayed for a new purpose, when being a mother was no longer mine, God showed me the way. He gave me hope for the future, one day at a time.

Hold On To What Feels Like Sunshine

During my time of deep sadness and depression, I needed help moving to a better place in my heart and soul. I colored a postcard from a local coffee shop with these words. I taped it to my mirror so I would see and read it every day. This reminded me of the things I love and the people who walked alongside me. Praise God for them!
